Dr. Thurstone is boa rd-certified in general, child, and addiction psychiatry. He is the directo r of the addiction services at Denver Health and associate professor of psy chiatry at the University of Colorado. His research focuses on improving ad olescent substance treatment and making it more available. In his free time , Dr. Thurstone is a competitive tennis player, consultant for the Denver B roncos, and a member of the US Army Reserve.
