Description: "Most of my clients would rather talk about sex than money." "Why did nobody ever teach me this stuff?"

Financial Feminism is where social justice and the psychology of money intersect. When we as mental health providers engage in financial feminism, we provide our clients - particularly those from marginalized backgrounds - a valuable tool to address their financial stress from a holistic perspective. In this brief introductory workshop, participants will familiarize themselves with Financial Feminism as a concept, its implications for psychologists in practice, and ways to implement concepts learned into their personal and professional lives. Also included is a brief case study concept for practical use and discussion.
