The Colorado Pain Society invites you to our 6th Annual Chronic Pain Conference, October 13-15, 2023, in Vail, CO at The Hythe

Virtual attendance of Saturday’s program is also available to PCPs.

This will be a CME event (up to 16 CME credits), in conjunction with Medical Education Resources, for physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), psychologists and others interested in pain management. The Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention is sponsoring a virtual primary care attendance opportunity for Saturday, October 14, (7 CME credits), at no cost (for PCPs only). Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the full 3-day, or virtual single-day, conference.

The Hythe is a Luxury Collection Resort with a distinctively stylish alpine experience. Breakfasts, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, and a Saturday afternoon cocktail reception will be served, allowing time for networking with colleagues and exhibitors. A non-CME dinner program is planned for Friday night.

Presentation topics will include: guest lecturers’ talks on central pain and neuroplasticity, the future of spine care, and, cancer pain mechanisms and management; neuropathic pain; psychology for pain, and CBT for OUD/SUD; updates on the CDC Opioid Guideline and use of methadone and buprenorphine for pain; an update on efforts to reduce (and current state of the crisis) opioid misuse and overdose deaths; an in-depth exploration of sacroiliac joint pain; and the pros, cons and evidence behind cannabis as medicine.

The Colorado Pain Society includes physicians from multiple specialties, advanced practice providers, and psychologists with an interest in pain management.
